Credit Repair
Filed under (finance synch) by admin @ 12:22 pm

Over the past fifteen years or so, many “Credit Repair Companies” or “Credit Clinics” have opened up across the nation. Their main purpose is to help the individual remove incorrect and negative items from their credit report. Unfortunately, some of these outfits are scams from the word “GO” and have given the whole industry a bad name. They take the consumer’s money and then tell them it will take month s to get results, then disappear without a trace. With the information we have provided you with here, you have no need to take that chance. If, however, you decide to hire one of these companies, check them out! First, if the sales person or company uses the word “Guarantee” or “Delete”, Run and don’t look back! There is no way to “Guarantee” that ANYTHING will be removed from the credit report! Think about it for a minute. Unless he or she is going to “hack” into the credit bureau’s computer, how can he guarantee anything? The Clinic is NOT the one that “deletes” the information! Ask to see their license, get a copy of it, and then contact your State’s Secretary of State to make sure that the company has obtained and maintained the necessary license and/or bond.

In the State of Nebraska all companies, organizations, or individuals that provide credit services MUST (with NO exceptions) obtain a “Credit Services Organization License”. If they charge a fee BEFORE they provide the services they promise, they MUST also maintain a $100,000 Surety Bond for TWO YEARS after they cease doing business in the state. While you are on the phone with the Secretary of State’s office, ask if there have been any unresolved complaints against the company. Find out how long they have had their license as well.

Are you making money online?
Filed under (finance synch) by admin @ 06:49 pm

I was reading a blog called Looking for a better life and I could totally relate to the insight on to the home based business world. I too had tried a few of those companies, (not Mary Kay though) and all I did was get the person above me more money. It is true that there are tons of work at home businesses where people actually make money, but the key to any success is you have got to have passion for what you are doing. If there is no passion and you are doing it simply for the cash then it will be short lived and you will end costing yourself time and money. I think this is why Jennifer, the owner of the blog, is doing well with her newest venture through AmeriPlan. This is home based business that can help families save on their health and dental insurance. It is the testimonials from those that have used the insurance that are the real key. Good luck Jennifer and we will keep an eye on your blog for more success stories.

Business forms

One of the greatest things of being a business owner is having the flexibility to create your own brand and meeting new customers. We started our business online about 5 years and have grown into many different avenues which some we never knew existed 2-3 years ago. When we paid for goods or transactions with business checks this was generally well accepted, but now a days the electronic commerce has become more widely accepted and trusted.

Early on we used accounting programs like Quick Books to manage our finances and still do and to print quickbooks checks is still a feature that we use on occasion when we are dealing with a local supplier or vendor not setup for online payment. This helped to keep our accounts in balance so that we were not having to reconcile accounts everyday. So as we keep forging ahead in our online adventure we will continue to explore new ways of doing business and tailoring our products and offerings to those of customers. But we will still use business enevleopes and cards to mail out occasionally as the personal touch of a letter still beats an email.
